PASTOR-CHRIS

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

LIVE FOR CHRIST Sunday, February 25th. Pastor Chris For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead (2 Corinthians 5:14). There’re many who don’t understand the purpose for life. So, they think a great life is when you’ve amassed a lot of wealth or earthly possessions; no. Jesus said in Luke 12:15, “…Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man’s life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth.” He also taught about a rich man who had such a bountiful harvest that he needed to tear down his storehouses and build new ones to store his crops. He was excited to have laid up so much supplies for himself. But while he was relishing the thought of all that he had amassed, God came into his room and said, “…You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?” (Luke 12:20 NIV). What’s the purpose for your life in this world? Why are you here? It’s to make sure the Gospel of Jesus Christ goes to the ends of the earth. Our Lord Jesus said, “…Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15). In Matthew 28:19, He said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations….” Personalize your role in the Gospel and say like the Apostle Paul, “According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust” (1 Timothy 1:11). Recall what the Lord said to him in Acts 26:16, “…I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness…” (Acts 26:16). We are His witnesses; it should be what excites you. You may not be a pastor, evangelist, teacher, prophet or apostle, but you’re a minister of reconciliation, called to be a soul-winner. So, live your life for Christ unreservedly. Come what may, stand for Jesus Christ and His Kingdom. Preach the Gospel no matter what. I am crucified with Christ; nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me, and I live for Him. He’s made me a passionate, committed and fearless soul winner, and today, through me, many receive the Gospel gladly and are converted to the Kingdom, in Jesus’ Name. Amen. FURTHER STUDY: Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Romans 10:13-15 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. 14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? 15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! 1 Corinthians 9:16 For though I preach the gospel, I have nothing to glory of: for necessity is laid upon me; yea, woe is unto me, if I preach not the gospel! Title: “Praises: Unlocking the Power of Gratitude and Worship” Scripture Reading: Psalm 100:4 (NIV) – “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.” Message: Praise is more than just a spontaneous expression of gratitude; it is a powerful spiritual weapon that unlocks God’s presence, power, and provision in our lives. In this devotional, titled “Praises,” let’s delve into the significance of cultivating a lifestyle of gratitude and worship, and how it can transform our hearts, minds, and circumstances. Reflection:Reflect on the invitation of Psalm 100:4 to enter God’s presence with thanksgiving and praise. Praise is the key that opens the door to communion with our Heavenly Father, allowing us to draw near to Him and experience His goodness, love, and faithfulness in a tangible way. When we approach God with a heart full of gratitude and worship, we position ourselves to receive His blessings and encounter His glory in our lives. Gratitude is a transformative attitude that shifts our focus from what we lack to what we have, from despair to hope, and from fear to faith. When we choose to give thanks in all circumstances, we acknowledge God’s sovereignty and provision, even in the midst of trials and challenges. Gratitude opens our eyes to the countless blessings that surround us each day and fills our hearts with joy, peace, and contentment. Worship is our response to the greatness, goodness, and majesty of God. It is an act of surrender, adoration, and reverence that acknowledges His worthiness and exalts His name above all else. When we lift our voices in praise, we declare God’s sovereignty over every situation, aligning our hearts with His will and inviting His presence to dwell among us. Worship is not just a Sunday ritual but a lifestyle of intimacy and surrender that permeates every aspect of our lives. As we cultivate a lifestyle of praise and worship, we unleash God’s power and provision in our lives and circumstances. Praise shifts the atmosphere, breaks chains of bondage, and releases breakthroughs and miracles. It is a declaration of faith that magnifies God above our problems and invites His kingdom to reign in our midst. Let us never underestimate the impact of our praises, for they have the power to transform hearts, change circumstances, and usher in God’s kingdom on earth. Prayer:Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of praise and worship. Help us to cultivate hearts of gratitude and lips of praise, that we may enter your presence with thanksgiving and worship you in spirit and in truth. May our lives be a continual offering of praise to you, our faithful and loving Father, who is worthy of all honor, glory, and adoration. In Jesus’ name, amen. Further Reading: Hebrews 13:15 (NIV) – “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name.”Psalm 34:1 (NIV) – “I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips.”May this devotional on “Praises” inspire you to cultivate a lifestyle of gratitude and worship, unlocking the power of God’s presence and provision in your life. Moments of Faith daily devotional 24 February 2024 by Prophet Frank Udoh

Title: “Kingdom Run by Words Scripture Reading: Proverbs 18:21 (NIV) – “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Message: In the Kingdom of God, words are not just mere utterances; they are powerful agents of transformation and creation. As believers, we have been entrusted with the incredible responsibility of stewarding our words wisely, recognizing their profound impact on our lives and the world around us. In this powerful devotional, titled “Kingdom Run by Words,” let’s explore the significance of our speech in advancing God’s Kingdom and fulfilling His purposes. Reflection: Reflect on the profound truth of Proverbs 18:21, which reminds us of the power inherent in our words. Our tongue has the ability to speak life and death, blessing and cursing, healing and harm. Every word we speak carries weight and significance, shaping our reality and influencing the lives of those around us. As stewards of God’s Word, it’s crucial that we use our speech to align with His truth and advance His Kingdom purposes. In the beginning, God spoke the world into existence through His Word (Genesis 1:3). Similarly, as His children, we have been given the authority to speak life into every situation we encounter. Our words have creative power, and when spoken in alignment with God’s will, they have the ability to bring about transformation and restoration. Let us be intentional about speaking words of faith, hope, love, and encouragement, releasing the life-giving power of God into every circumstance. Throughout Scripture, we see the importance of declaring God’s promises over our lives and circumstances. Just as Joshua and Caleb proclaimed the Lord’s faithfulness in the face of giants (Numbers 14:6-9), we are called to boldly declare God’s truth and stand firm on His promises. When we speak God’s Word in faith, we activate His power to bring about His purposes and fulfill His plans in our lives. While our words have the power to build up and edify, they also have the potential to tear down and destroy. Therefore, it’s essential that we guard our speech and use it to glorify God and edify others. Let us refrain from gossip, slander, and negative talk, choosing instead to speak words of kindness, encouragement, and truth. By doing so, we reflect the love and character of Christ and create an atmosphere conducive to God’s presence and blessing. Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for the gift of speech and the power inherent in our words. Help us to steward our speech wisely, recognizing its profound impact on our lives and the lives of others. May our words be aligned with your truth and used to advance your Kingdom purposes on earth. Give us the wisdom and discernment to speak life, declare your promises, and build up those around us. May our speech be a reflection of your love and grace, bringing glory to your name. In Jesus’ name, amen. Further Reading: Ephesians 4:29 (NIV) – “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”James 3:5-6 (NIV) – “Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.”May this devotional on “Kingdom Run by Words” inspire you to steward your speech wisely and use it to advance God’s Kingdom purposes. May you be intentional about speaking life, declaring God’s promises, and building up others with your words, knowing that they have the power to shape your reality and influence the world around you.

Moments of Faith Daily Devotional 23 February 2024 by Prophet Frank Udoh

Title: “The Set Time to Favor You has come Scripture Reading: Psalm 102:13 (NIV) – “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.” Message: In life, there are seasons of waiting and seasons of fulfillment, moments when God’s perfect timing intersects with our deepest desires and dreams. As believers, we live in eager anticipation of the set time when God’s favor will manifest in our lives. In this powerful devotional, titled “The Set Time to Favor You Has Come,” let’s explore the significance of embracing God’s divine timing and remaining steadfast in faith as we await His blessings. Reflection:Reflect on the promise of Psalm 102:13, where the psalmist declares that it is time for God to show favor to His people. Just as God had a set time to show favor to Zion, He has a set time for each of us when His blessings and breakthroughs will manifest in our lives. Though we may face seasons of waiting and uncertainty, we can trust that God’s timing is perfect, and He will fulfill His promises in due time. Waiting for God’s timing can be challenging, especially when we’re eager for His blessings to manifest. Yet, in the waiting, we have the opportunity to grow in faith, patience, and trust in God’s faithfulness. Rather than becoming discouraged or disheartened, let us embrace the season we’re in, knowing that God is working all things together for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28). His timing is never late, but always perfect. As we wait for the set time of God’s favor, let us remain faithful and diligent in our walk with Him. Let us continue to seek His face, study His Word, and cultivate intimacy with Him through prayer and worship. Our faithfulness in the waiting prepares us to steward the blessings He has in store for us and positions us to receive His favor with open hearts and grateful spirits. While we wait for God’s favor to manifest, let us prepare our hearts to receive the overflow of His blessings. Just as a farmer prepares the soil before planting seeds, let us cultivate a fertile spiritual ground through obedience, humility, and surrender. As we align our hearts with God’s purposes and plans, we position ourselves to receive His abundant favor and blessings beyond measure. Prayer Heavenly Father, thank you for the promise of your favor and blessings in our lives. Help us to trust in your perfect timing, knowing that you are faithful to fulfill your promises to us. Give us patience and perseverance as we wait for the set time of your favor, and empower us to remain faithful and obedient in the waiting. May our hearts be prepared to receive the overflow of your blessings with gratitude and joy. In Jesus’ name, amen. Further Reading: Habakkuk 2:3 (NIV) – “For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”Galatians 6:9 (NIV) – “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”May this devotional on “The Set Time to Favor You Has Come” inspire you to trust in God’s perfect timing and remain steadfast in faith as you await His blessings. May you be encouraged to embrace the season you’re in, knowing that the set time for God’s favor is drawing near, and His blessings are on the horizon.
